The born blind man

Lord Jesus is the creator God

This was not just a miracle because the Lord Jesus created for this man two eye balls. He spat on the ground and mad clay and anointed him with it, and then He said to him:" Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing."(John 9:7). This miracle is a clear evidence of divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ. It resembles the former creation of our father Adam.

The readiness to receive God's gifts

The man obeyed The Lord and went to the pool which was about 6 kilometers outside of Jerusalem. He had wanted to be healed and so, The Lord granted him sight. The Lord always grants his gifts to all whom want them. The born blind man was simple and humble so he didnt argue. The Lord also gives all simple and humble people his gifts.

The blind Pharisees

The Pharisees were truly blind they did not believe that the Lord Jesus is the son of God, simply because they could not understand that this great miracle refers to His divinity. The man emphasized that he was blind and Jesus had granted him sight. They had disputed with him hoping that he might change his mind but he confirmed that Lord had healed him, moreover he bore good witnesses about the Lord Jesus saying to them: If this man were not from God, He could do nothing. They had dealt with him rudely to obligate him to agree that Lord Jesus was a sinner, but they could not. In fact Pharisees were truly blind although their eye was working well.

The true vision

The Lord had enlightened not only the eyes of the man but also his understanding and his heart. This was more important than giving sight to his physical eyes. This is the main purpose of The Lord Jesus for all humans. Pharisees had alleged that they were devout and knowing everything but truly they were blind as Lord rebuked them saying: For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.(John 9:39). The true vision for everyone is the recognition of the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the true light who came to the world. He came to us to enlighten our way to heavens.

Baptism and the enlightenment

He gives us the born of spirit from above I mean the baptism so that we can acknowledge what is belongs to heaven as He said to Nicodemus:" Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."(John 3:5-6)

The growth of spirit

This man grew in knowledge of God. First he answered the Pharisees when they ask him about how his eye were opened A Man called Jesus..." then he answered them when they asked him secondly:" What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes? He said He is a prophet." Lastly when he met The Lord he worshipped him as the son of God saying: Lord, I believe He was honest with himself so, he did not fear Jews and so, he was worthy that Lord Jesus came to him to strengthen him. The Pharisees were dishonest with themselves. They deny this great miracle because they were arrogant and so, they despised the Lord and had rejected Him. They were truly blind because they love the world and its lusts.

Conclusion

Lastly if we are in spirit we have good sight and we know everything about the way to heaven but who is in flesh even if he was baptized he is blind and he will lose eternity. Glory be to God forever amen.
